Project ︎︎︎ History Of Poppers

My Largest ever publication spanning 130 pages, this book was inspired by the curious and fascinating history around the drug poppers. A little explored cornerstone of queer history the design of poppers bottles is ubiquitous with harsh and eye catching design. In this book I created an archive of the most creative and interesting designs and interjected them with spreads on the history and stigma surrounding the drug. 

I also explored the dangers and side effects the drug poses. Inspired by the design of the bottles themselves I used vibrant colours and a repeating ‘xxx’ motif throughout.
